This week, the theme on the agenda is definitely still Christmas.

Events this weekend…

The Little Mermaid

This family-oriented performance is sure to warm your heart this weekend. Bright colours, beautiful costumes and lively songs are sure to get you and the children in a festive mood on 5 and 6 December.

Show times on 5 December are at 10:30 and again at 14:30. On the 6 December show times are 10:30, 14:30 and 18:30.

The Little Mermaid will play at the Irene Village Theatre.

Addictshun

Do you love drum and bass music? Arcade Empire’s got it covered.

The show starts at 20:00 on 6 December and finishes at 02:00 the next morning. The line-up includes: Ella G, Reepa, Point 4 and Mr.Green. Entrance is R30 if you get there before 22:00.

District market

Do you enjoy homemade jams and foods? Then be sure to come to the district market at the Voortrekker Monument on 6 December from 7:00 to 14:00.

The market and the delicious goodies available will not disappoint.

Christmas carols evening

If you live in the Moot, then come enjoy a night of carols at NG Wesmoot on 7 December at 19:00.

A night of carols at the church will definitely put you in the festive spirit if you aren’t there already.

Jacaranda Lights Festival

The Jacaranda Children’s Home will be decorating 21 homes and invites the public from 1 to 27 December to enjoy the lights and music with them.

You can sponsor a house covered in lights for R3 000 per house.
