A colourful experience to remember!
Fun and laughter was the order of the day during the 5km Colour Run on Saturday at the Union Buildings.
Fun brought participants together regardless of age, race or sex. People from all over the country shared a bright and colourful day.
The thousands of people at the event did not seem to bother themselves with how far they had to go or how steep the road was, all that mattered was how much colour they could get onto themselves from top to bottom.
The licence holder for Colour Run Africa, Leon Swanepoel, said the day was an epic for Pretoria.
“The Colour Run initially started in America where it has grown nationwide. Next week we will be in Durban and there are still some other places where we will share this unique event.”
He said the run was a great initiative that everyone can experience.
The event was hosted in conjunction with the Unite4Mandela Sports and Cultural day.
