The Color Run

Get ready to be blasted with rainbows at the happiest 5k on the planet on Saturday, 22 November. The colourful race starts at 09:00 in Stanza Bopape Street and will see runners, joggers and walkers strolling along the street. At certain points in the race, participants will have different coloured powders chucked at them, colouring the Jacaranda’s City’s streets in rainbow colours. The Rekord team will also be participating in the race, so feel free to come say hi!

Fokofpolisiekar

This iconic South African band will be performing live at Arcade Empire in Pretoria. Joining the line-up is Gable Stealing Gypsies and The Olympic. The show starts at 19:00 on 21 November. Entrance is R60 per person.

Boeremark

For all the early birds who would like to purchase freshly baked bread, sweet treats and beautiful flowers, the Boeremark is for you. Wollies Animal Shelter decorating with Getec

Do you have young children? Do you love Christmas? Of course you do! Take the kids to the Wollies Animal Shelter to help decorate. Kick off the day by walking a shelter dog on 22 November at 07:00. Wollies is reaching out to the public, and urges all animal lovers to assist them in making sure every one of their dogs has the opportunity to have some fun by walking the 2km or 5km route. Global Entrepreneurship Week picnic

Are you a business owner? Then be sure to be at the CSIR Sports and Recreation Club on 22 November from 09:00 till 20:00. It promises to be a fun-filled day connecting young entrepreneurs and business minds from different backgrounds, and giving them a chance to unwind, play games and have fun while making friends and creating business relationships.

There will be a breakfast talk with guest speaker Irfan Pardesi, music, braai, drinks, delicious food, exhibitions and experienced entrepreneurs to help coach others that have experienced failure and consult with them. There will also be fun games, like sand volleyball and water polo.

Art in the Yard Acoustics

Enjoy the soothing sounds of Matthew Mole, Tristan Coetzee, Yo Grapes and Skinee Sunrise at Railways Café on 23 November. The show starts at 11:00. Bring your own drinks. Entrance is R100 per person.
