Big Bang Theory actress dies

Carol Ann Susi, who voiced Mrs Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory, has died.

The mysterious Mrs Wolowitz in the hit TV series The Big Bang Theory died on Tuesday at the age of 62, following a brief battle with cancer.

Carol Ann Susi is best known for her role as the voice of Howard’s mother, Mrs Wolowitz. According to reports, the actress died in Los Angeles.

Warner Bros said in a statement: “The Big Bang Theory family has lost a beloved member today with the passing of Carol Ann Susi, who hilariously and memorably voiced the role of Mrs Wolowitz.”

Susi kicked her career off as an actress during the 1970s when she played Kolchak’s secretary in the series Kolchak: The Night Stalker. She also appeared in Cheers, Doogie Howser, Seinfeld and Six Feet Under.
