Open mic at Monte de Dios
The new 'it venue' in the East of Pretoria hosts open mic evenings the first Wednesday of every month.
This month’s open evening for singing artists at Monte de Dios took place on Wednesday evening and guests were spoiled with several artists.
With the musical talents of Eloise Cupido, On-Que, Hercules Smith, Andries Hendrik Potgieter, Judith Kea, Reinier Joubert, Wian Fourie and Simeon Hamman, the more than 100 guests attending could relax and enjoy an amazing show.
Director of the show Willie Venter said he was first approached by owner Leon Pheiffer when Monte de Dios opened its doors in May this year.
“We do an open mic evening on the first Wednesday of every month and every performer who wants to perform at the event needs to go through a strict interview to ensure that we have a quality, classy line-up for every event.”
