The strife for perfection has driven two young women to idealise an internationally known plastic doll.

The 21-year-old Alina Kovalevskaya and Valerie Lukyanova, both from Odessa in the Ukraine, have one thing in common both want to look like the famous Barbie doll.

Lukyanova with her unique look and tiny 18-inch waist made headlines in 2012 and now Kovalevskaya is the newest addition to the plastic doll family.

Kovalevskaya claims that her doll-like resemblance comes from her natural big eyes, small nose and small, plump lips. She enhances her look by wearing contact lenses that give her a blank, doll-like stare.
