Flea market for charity
Come do your Christmas shopping and donate to charity at the same time at Rotary Pretoria Sunrise's festive flea market.
A fun flea market in the east of Pretoria with special entertainment will be held soon in aid of various charity organisations. On Friday, 29 November, Rotary Pretoria Sunrise is holding a concert and flea market at the Willows Country Lodge, Lynnwood Road.
The funds raised will help support Rotary Pretoria to invest in various projects, including vegetable gardens for an old age home, skills training and literacy for a school for children with disabilities, and other outreach programmes.
There is no entrance fee, visitors are only requested to buy a candle made by the children from the Tshegofatsong Special Needs School. There will be snacks and a cash bar with about 20 market stalls providing a wide variety of small, affordable gifts for Christmas.
Entertainment includes performances by choirs, a poetry reading and a light classical music performance by Gracenote.
