Gauteng race fans were treated to an action-packed event at Zwartkops Raceway on September 14.
The event’s highlight was the Ferro Energia 111 200 endurance race, which ran into the night.
This thrilling race featured a mix of V8 Supercars, V8 Masters, PABAR VW Challenge, BMW M Performance Parts Racing Series and DOE Formula Vee.
Some key highlights of the event include:
- V8 Supercars: Julian Fameliaris dominated the opening race, but Terry Wilford secured victory in race 2.
- V8 Masters: Stuart Spooner claimed victory in both races, showcasing his dominance.
- PABAR VW Challenge: Wayne Masters and Stuart Mack emerged as winners in their respective classes.
- BMW M Performance Parts Racing Series: Ryan Naicker won the opening race, while Reinhardt Miller took the second.
- DOE Formula Vee: Lendl Jansen dominated winning both races.
- Ferro Energia 111 GT Sports and Saloons: George Economides and Dawie Olivier were the standout performers.
The event showcased the talent and skill of South African drivers across various racing disciplines. Fans were treated to thrilling battles, close finishes and dramatic moments.
The next event will take place on Saturday, October 12.
