Visually, the C3 closely resembles its electric counterpart, with the same bodywork design. The only noticeable differences are the absence of the ‘e’ emblem and the presence of the C3 badge. The model is offered in two trim levels as part of Citroën’s effort to simplify its line-up.

Inside, the dashboard features a 10.25-inch infotainment display in the top-tier ‘Max’ trim, while the base ‘You’ trim comes with a smartphone holder instead. Both trims feature Citroën’s Head Up Display. Storage space is ample, enhancing the car’s practicality. Optional equipment includes automatic air conditioning, wireless charging, and smartphone mirroring, with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) limited to essential features.

Under the metal, the entry-level C3 is powered by a non-electrified turbocharged 1.2l, three-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 75kW of power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Alternatively, the Hybrid 100 variant pairs the same 1.2l engine with 48V Hybrid technology. This setup includes a 48V Lithium-Ion battery and an electric motor producing 21kW of power. The Hybrid 100 model is equipped with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, offering both performance and efficiency.

Despite its compact dimensions, the new C3 boasts increased interior space and easier access compared to its predecessor. This is attributed to its taller body and higher ground clearance of 197mm. The model also features Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension, which uses progressive hydraulic cushions to absorb road imperfections efficiently. The new Citroen C3 offers a blend of modern design, practicality, and efficiency, with options catering to various preferences and needs.
