Audi RS 6 Avant GT set to arrive in Q2 of 2024

The new Audi RS 6 Avant GT pulls inspiration from the RS 6 Avant GTO and the Audi Quattro and showcases an innovative new design. Let’s dive into what makes this car a standout.

The Audi RS 6 Avant GT, inspired by the 2020 RS 6 Avant GTO concept, is the epitome of automotive craftsmanship. Crafted with the assistance of 10 apprentices, drawing inspiration from the legendary Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO racecar, it showcases the innovative contributions of young talents during their apprenticeship.

Distinguishing itself from the RS 6 Avant performance, the GT model boasts a striking design. Featuring a redesigned carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre fenders and unique 22-inch wheels, it exudes a commanding presence on the road.

Powered by a formidable 4.0 TFSI engine, the RS 6 Avant GT accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 3.3 seconds, reaching 200km/h in 11.5 seconds with a top speed of 305km/h. Equipped with the RS ceramic brake system and quattro all-wheel drive, it offers exceptional performance and handling. It also packs a punch with its twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering an impressive 463kW and 850Nm of torque from 2 300r/min.

Unlike its counterparts, the GT model undergoes meticulous assembly at Böllinger Höfe, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship. Each of the limited 660 models receives special attention from skilled technicians, making it a true masterpiece of engineering.

The brand’s enthusiasts can look forward to the RS 6 Avant GT’s arrival in Q2 of 2024, as confirmed by Audi South Africa.
