Mitsubishi has earned prestigious Good Design titles from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. Embracing core values like dynamic strength, robustness, functionality and evolution, Mitsubishi said it aims to offer customers both reliability and excitement.

The all-new Triton

The all-new Triton, a one-tonne bakkie, embodies Mitsubishi Motors’ essence by providing a safe, comfortable ride across diverse weather and road conditions globally. With its Beast Mode design concept, the Triton exudes toughness and strength inherent to pickup trucks while maintaining the agility characteristic of Mitsubishi models. Its interior prioritises practicality, catering to professional use.

Comments from the jury highlight the Triton’s exceptional features, including its powerful performance, distinctive LED lighting, rugged silhouette and user-friendly interior. The vehicle’s workmanship, such as the cargo bed’s interior cover, further impresses.

Xforce.

The all-new Xforce

The all-new Xforce, a compact SUV, strikes a balance between comfort and practicality. It offers a spacious cabin, versatile storage spaces and secure road handling, all within a compact body. Adhering to the Silky & Solid design concept, the Xforce combines stylish and robust SUV aesthetics with a sophisticated interior.

Jury comments commended the exterior design’s sense of massiveness, despite the vehicle’s compact size, and its advanced SUV appeal. The interior design’s meticulous attention to detail and the harmonious blending of colours, materials and finishes create an exciting overall vehicle design.

Jeffrey Allison, general manager of marketing at Mitsubishi Motors SA, said, “Mitsubishi fans appreciate powerful and imposingly designed bakkies and SUVs, enhancing their fun-filled lifestyle.”
