Land Rover set to launch new Range Rover Evoque

The brand-new Range Rover Evoque, set to launch in South Africa in early 2024, incorporates some of the latest technology to create higher standards in modern luxury.

Land Rover presents the new Range Rover Evoque, catering to the discerning needs of today’s luxury vehicle enthusiasts. With its stunning aesthetics and exquisite craftsmanship, this model sets new standards in modern luxury.

Stepping into the cabin, you will be greeted by an impressive 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen. Powered by Pivi Pro2, this advanced centre console provides a seamless and comfortable digital experience, with regular over the air software updates to keep you connected.

Prioritising your well-being, the Evoque incorporates cabin air purification plus technology, ensuring a consistently refreshed and invigorating interior environment.

Geraldine Ingham, Range Rover’s managing director, comments, “The latest iteration of our compact luxury Range Rover for urban settings surpasses its predecessor in intelligence and sophistication. The cabin exudes serenity and simplicity, featuring new materials and color options for effortless luxury. Choose from the Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and Autobiography models, each offering distinct features. The P300e plug-in electric hybrid enables you to complete your daily journeys in EV mode, while the Ingenium diesel engine presents an alternative option.

Stay seamlessly connected with Pivi Pro2, which supports Wireless Apple CarPlay7 and Wireless Android Auto. Convenient wireless device charging is available from a dedicated stowage area in the centre console, eliminating the need for cables. Enjoy a range of online apps integrated within the infotainment system, including popular music streaming services like Spotify and Deezer.

With dynamic bend lighting, the Evoque adapts to the road ahead, utilising speed and steering data to illuminate dark corners and verges, ensuring optimal visibility. The high beam range can project light up to almost half a kilometre in front, further enhancing your driving experience.

The P300e electric hybrid, delivers the best of both worlds. Benefit from an impressive 62km electric driving range powered by its 14.9kWh battery. This hybrid powertrain combines a fuel-efficient three-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor, generating a total power output of 227kW and achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration in just 6.4 seconds.

Terrain Response 2, accessible through Pivi Pro2 allows you to customise your vehicle settings according to the driving conditions, with modes such as Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic, and Automatic.

The new Range Rover Evoque is priced from R1 258 100 and is expected to arrive in South Africa in early 2024.
