Speculation around the highly anticipated return of the Toyota Land Cruiser has once again stirred up excitement among enthusiasts.

Information about the next Land Cruiser is few and far between, Toyota remains tight-lipped about the status of the next in line to wear the illustrious nameplate. Not too long ago, CAR Magazine reported on rumours that suggested the next-generation off-roader would ditch its V8 in favour of a four-cylinder power plant.

Following recent hints of the iconic SUV’s comeback to the US market, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating what lies ahead for this venerated nameplate, which has been absent from American shores since 2021. According to the latest rumours, the upcoming Land Cruiser could draw inspiration from the current road-going Prado, injecting fresh appeal into the legendary vehicle.
