Toyota’s brand-new premises will open shortly

The new premises will be three times bigger, better and more advanced than the present one with ultramodern facilities to keep up with customers' demands as well as the modern trends in the motor industry

Burgersfort Toyota is entering a new era with the current construction of a brand-new dealership close to Tubatse Crossing Shopping Centre in Dirk Winterbach Street. The company expects it to be completed by February 2016.

The new premises will be three times bigger, better and more advanced than the present one with ultramodern facilities to keep up with customers’ demands as well as the modern trends in the motor industry.

The workshop will also be extended and will be more convenient to access along the main road. The filling station, located next to the current Burgersfort Toyota premises will, however, remain at that location.

This transformation reaffirms the company’s confidence in the town. It realises it couldn’t have grown without the support of the local community.

On September 18, 1989 Solly Tayob opened the doors of Burgersfort Toyota for the first time with his late brother Abdul Tayob and Wol Kinnear. This didn’t come easy as they had been turned away four times before, but it just showed that perseverance paid off. Wol Kinnear, who has been part of the business right from the beginning, also played a great part in the success of the business.

Burgersfort Toyota is not only a company that prides itself in its own success, but it strongly believes in giving back to the local community through sponsorships and donations towards schools and other organisations. It is also a fully accredited BEE status dealer.
