Video: Emalahleni panga attack: 3 arrested
Police left no stone unturned in the search for the suspects who cut a man's hands off during a brutal attack.
After days of intense investigation, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack on Dumisani Mahlangu.
Mahlangu was brutally attacked in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, last week.
Going back to the crime scene on Monday, detectives found the ropes that were used to bind the victim, as well as the piece of wood that was used as a backboard for the inhumane act of hacking his hands off.
His hands were found in bushes close to the scene of the crime.
The suspects were arrested in Vosman last night.
They allegedly kidnapped Mahlangu and chopped his hands off because they thought he stole a battery from a local church.
