The operation also led to the arrest of a taxi driver who was allegedly transporting passengers with a blood-alcohol concentration 20 times above the legal limit, reports Northern Natal News.
The legal blood-alcohol limit for an ordinary driver is 0.05mg per 100ml blood, while the limit for professional drivers, such as a taxi or truck drivers, is 0.02mg per 100ml blood.
