A murder case is under investigation after a man’s body was found in the streets of Zone 14, Sebokeng yesterday.

Vaalweekblad reports that police spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane says Sebokeng police were summoned to the scene, where they found the deceased lying lifelessly on the ground with blood stains.

Mokhachane adds that the man sustained a deep cut wound at the back of his head, multiple lacerations on both feet, and a laceration on the hand.

“According to information, the deceased resides on the same street where he was murdered. It is unclear what had happened and at what time the incident occurred, but the deceased’s mother alleged that she last saw her son on [Monday] in the afternoon and he was in his shack.”
