KZN woman charged with murder, victim stabbed multiple times
Several people told police that they witnessed a woman stabbing another person to death.
A KwaDukuza woman (38) was arrested shortly after allegedly stabbing her victim to death in front of witnesses.
The incident occurred in Shayamoya outside KwaDukuza in KZN on Thursday.
According to Captain Alex Thomson, the spokesperson for ILembe SAPS Cluster, the suspect and victim had an argument, which led to the suspect allegedly pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim multiple times in her upper body.
“The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics… The suspect was identified by several [people] who witnessed the altercation and murder.
“The suspect was arrested and charged with murder. The motive for the murder is still unknown,” says Thompson.
