5 rescued after boat capsizes at KZN’s Isipingo Beach
Paramedics are on the scene assisting people who were thrown overboard when their boat capsized.
Five people are being treated for various injuries after their boat capsized at Isipingo Beach in KZN a short while ago.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says the people sustained various injuries and are being stabilised on the scene before being transported to hospital for further care.
“It is believed that the occupants were working out at sea when their vessel overturned, throwing all of them into the water. The occupants were rescued and brought to shore when paramedics arrived,” he says.
All necessary authorities are on the scene and investigations are under way.
