A manhunt has been launched for three men following a robbery and assault at a farm in the Helpmekaar area of KZN this morning.

According to Northern Natal Courier, details remain limited at this stage. However, co-ordinators from the Dundee Safety Group, who asked not to be named, said the suspects threatened occupants inside the house before fleeing with cash and an airgun.

Joint search operation underway

The trio reportedly escaped into dense, overgrown bush behind the property.

Farmers, private security companies and the SAPS have launched a joint operation to track down the attackers.

Investigations are ongoing.
