Tyla’s ‘Jump’ music video hits over 6 million views in 9 days

Tyla’s fans love her ‘Jump’ music video that has already been streamed over 77 million times on Spotify.

South Africa’s Grammy Award winner Tyla Laura Seethal got a massive six million views with her Jump music video, placing it second on YouTube’s trend list within nine days of its release.

The song also sits on over 77 million streams on Spotify, coming in third behind Truth or Dare and Water.

The music video was filmed on Johannesburg’s streets, features fellow artists Gunna and Skillibeng, and was directed by Nabil.

To show how far she has come in the music industry, in the video Water, the singer jumps in front of a minibus plastered with her photographs and does her signature twerk in traffic.

The Grammy Award winner took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a snippet of the music video.

An X user commented on the video posted by Tyla, saying: “I love how much you represent your hometown and country. South Africa must be so proud! Awesome video, loved the treat towards the end.”

Another said: “Gunna is a real one, he touched down Johannesburg for the video.”

A few weeks ago, the US rapper and singer Gunna made headlines when he was spotted with Tyla at Soweto nightclub Konka. He was in the country to film the music video for Jump. He surprised fans by performing his current hit song Fukumean.
