Ingredients

  • 60 ml Brandy
  • 22 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 15 ml Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Lemon Wheel or Cherry (for garnish)
  • Optional: Egg White (for a frothy texture)

Method

  1. Select a rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass. Fill it with ice to chill while you assemble the cocktail.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine brandy, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. If you desire a velvety texture, you can also add an optional egg white at this stage.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. This not only blends the ingredients but also creates a frothy top, especially if you’ve added egg white.
