Make some popcorn and dim the lights...it’s movie time!

Make some popcorn and dim the lights…it’s movie time! Find out which movies your grandparents were obsessed with and which actors they swooned over when they were your age by asking them for their must-watch movie list. Once the list is complete, get the family together and set up a couple of movie nights during the holidays to watch these golden oldies together.  We’ll start the list for you with some of our faves:

Casablanca (1942)

If it’s not on your bucket-list of movies to watch, add it…now…quickly. One of the Hollywood greats and a love story you definitely won’t forget is the one and only classic, Casablanca. This beautiful movie is set during World War II and tells the story of Rick Blaine (played by the legendary Humphrey Bogart) who owns a nightclub which is an oasis for refugees. Rick faced an unexpected challenge, however, when an ex-lover and her boyfriend arrived one day. Stream the movie on HBO Max or rent it online.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)

Even if you aren’t a fan of Western movies, this is one you can’t miss. Robert Redford and Paul Newman are the perfect match in this film that tells the story of a train robbery gone wrong leaving Butch Cassidy (Newman) and The Sundance Kid (Redford) in serious trouble as they try to get away from a dangerous gang. Watch it on Amazon Prime.
