Boksburg South beauty Angel Pieterse (20) is in the running to become the next Empress South Africa 2020 winner.
The competition is about empowering young women to grow and develop themselves by making a positive impact in their communities.
The hopeful semi-finalist is a combination of beauty with brains as she’s studying labour law at Unisa.
“The reason I entered this competition was to empower and inspire young girls to be the best they can be. While growing up I was a victim of bullying. I want to motivate other victims that they can still be whatever they want in life regardless of what people say about them,” she said.
