Boksburg Advertiser is calling all Boksburg residents who consider one of their family recipes to be the best in the city, to take part in Boksburg’s best original Recipe competition.

Do you, your nana or one of your relatives have a mouth-watering food recipe? We want to give you the opportunity to show it off and tell the whole of Boksburg that your family is ‘the boss’ when it comes to scrumptious food.

The best part? It’s extremely easy to enter!

All you need to do is:

Follow the Boksburg Advertiser Instagram page.

Send an email with your name, contact details, the name of your recipe, a photo of you holding your prepared dish, as well as a copy of your recipe to cook&culture@caxton.co.za.

Entries open on July 22 and close on August 1, 2019, at 10 am. From here, your photo and recipe will be assessed to see if it meets all the requirements stated in the T’s & C’s in the link below. If your photo and recipe do indeed meet these requirements, it will be posted onto the Boksburg Advertiser Instagram page on August 2, 2019. It’s completely up to you whether you win or not as you need to get as many of your friends and family members as possible to vote for your recipe by liking it on the Boksburg Advertiser Instagram page. Voting starts on August 2, 2019, midday as soon as the entries are posted onto the Instagram page. Voting closes on August 16, 2019, at 10 am. That gives you nearly two weeks to spark and get those votes.

The recipe with the most votes will win. The winner will receive a prize and be featured in the Boksburg Advertiser .
