DJ Nova collaborates with Yende to release new single

He plans to release an album around October.

Windmill Park’s ‘heavyweight’ DJ, Kabelo Phorohlo (DJ Nova SA), has recently released a new single, Dance All Night.

The single is a collaboration with Slindile Yende (Short Base), a vocalist from the Vaal DJ Nova SA (25) who has performed in the Eastern Cape, North West and around Gauteng, and his music has been well received by young people all over the country.

“2017 was great year for me as I managed to build a fan base internationally, working with artists from Kenya and Angola,” DJ Nova said.

Windmill Park DJ Kabelo Phorohlo (DJ Nova SA) has recently released a new single and said an album is coming around October.

In 2014 he released his first single, titled Izinyembezi and featuring Meehlaji, which was downloaded more than 100 000 times. He was later featured on M.Que’s single titled Again.

According to DJ Nova SA, the reason he is releasing singles is that he wants to build a solid fan base.

“As I continue releasing singles, people will understand where I come from musically as an artist before I release an album.

“Once I build a good following for my brand, it will be much easier for the album to sell in stores. Building a solid brand is key in music,” he said.

“I believe it’s time to give people a full package of my work and also good music that speaks to the soul.

“My brand has grown rapidly over the past few years and I have been working hard in studio to come up with good music,” DJ Nova said.
