Legendary gospel performers collaborate for family friendly Gospel picnic

Over 20 renowned South African gospel performers are collaborating to present the gospel music festival of the season at Carnival City next month.

The All White Gospel picnic on November 4 is a family-friendly, outdoor celebration on the sprawling Festival Lawns.

The event, a vibrant kick off to the festive season, will be headlined by the legendary Sipho Makhabane.

Also in the line-up are heavyweights such as Judith Sephuma, Dumi Mkokstad, Betusile Mcinga, Zaza Mokhethi, Tebello Sukwene and the golden couple Nqubeko Mbatha and Ntokozo Mbambo.

Crowd pullers Thinah Zungu, Khaya Mthethwa and Sipho Ngwenya will also entertain the fun seekers.

Completing the star-studded programme are Shaun P, Mabongi, Janine Price, Mawat, Sicelo Moya, Xolani Jwaga, Verona and gospel group, We Will Worship.

Thami Ngubeni, Sphumi Mabena and Vusi Gcabashe are the hosts for the uplifting showcase.

According to Carnival City’s marketing manager, Michelle Smith, the outdoor lifestyle event is perfect for families to enjoy performances by exceptional gospel performers under warm African skies.

There will be entertainment to suit all ages.

The picnic starts at noon and is scheduled to end at midnight.

Khanyi Magubane, the co-founder of All White Gospel Picnic comments: “As we fast approach the festive period where families will spend quality time together, the picnic provides an opportunity for bonding over great music, beautiful sunny weather and positive vibes.”
