Carnival City again hosts much anticipated Pride Weekend

Carnival City has again been selected to host the much anticipated Pride Weekend, which combines hilarious stand-up comedy and awesome live music performances by proudly South African artists.

This year’s Pride Weekend takes place on March 11 and 12.

The first day of the weekend features a music concert, characterised by infectious Afro soul and house tunes.

Artists on the bill for the event include The Soil, Mafikizolo, Black Motion and K2, hosted by Big Brother finalist Blue Mbombo and comedian Tumi Stopnonsons.

The second day of the event is dedicated to comedy, with top comedians such as Joey Rasdien, Trevor Gumbi, Salesman, Pule, Thapelo Tips, Dillan Oliphant, Mdu Ntuli and Tumi Stopnonsons, hosted by the hilarious TallAssMo, collaborating to have the audience rolling in the aisles.
