Win tickets to see UK artist, George Ezra, live!
About 15 000 revelers are expected to flock to Carnival City for George Ezra’s one-night-only concert, on Sunday, August 30.
Tickets to the outdoor show on the expansive Festival Lawns are selling fast.
“We are expecting a capacity crowd for Ezra’s concert on our lawns at the end of August,” said Matthew Cook, the entertainment and events manager at Carnival City.
”This is a show for all ages.
“Bring your friends, family, picnic blankets and chairs for a memorable outdoor show by one of the world’s fastest-rising young artists.”
Ezra, who hails from the United Kingdom, is well-known for hits like Budapest and Blame it on me, which have climbed the South African radio charts.
His music, described as deep, bluesy and mournful, is strongly influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie.
His first studio album, Wanted on Voyage, was released in 2014 and has enjoyed significant success worldwide.
The show will start at noon.
