Waterfall, a brilliant follow to Teardrop

When I read Lauren Kate's Teardrop, I was captivated and finished the book within four hours.

Rating: Absolutely captivating and fun to read.

And, yes, the same thing happened with this wonderful follow-up to this exciting series and brilliant author. Her work is easy to read, and her tale, yet fantasy fiction, ties in so well into the real life aspect of the storyline.

In Waterfall, Eureka’s tears have flooded the earth and now Atlantis is rising, along with its evil King, Atlas. Eureka is the only one who can stop him, but first she must learn how to fight.

She travels across the ocean with Ander, to try and make sense of the dark world her sorrow has created. But dark secrets are hidden in the depths – will she be strong enough to defeat Atlas, or is her broken heart just what he needs to power his rising kingdom?

Eureka has the chance to save the world, but she’ll have to give up on everything – even love.

I suggest that every reader first read Teardrop to understand the backstory to this tale better. But, its great to read it first even if you are filled in on what had happened in Waterfall’s predecessor.
