How to make it

  1. Help your child paint the popsicle stick green and allow it to dry.
  2. Take one large and one little cupcake liner and slightly flatten them so they are simpler to fold.
  3. Fold the cupcake liner in half. Then fold it in half again, repeatedly, until yo have folded it four times to create eight petals.
  4. Cut a gentle curve into the cupcake liner using scissors. We suggest beginning your cut on the folded edge.
  5. Ensure that the curve is cut low enough to yield distinct petal forms when the flower is opened. If you cut it too high, simply fold it back up and cut it again.
  6. Fold the tiny cupcake liner in the same manner (four folds) and cut the curve into it.
  7. Form the cupcake liners such that the vibrant colour is looking forward and the white side is facing backwards.
  8. Using crafter’s tape, attach the small cupcake liner to the large cupcake liner.
  9. And now for our favourite step: let your child place a rhinestone or shiny bead in the centre of the flower.
  10. Fold the green cardboard paper in half and, on the fold, cut out two leaf shapes.
  11. Attach the leaves to the back of the popsicle stick with crafter’s tape, and then adhere the popsicle stick to the back of the flower.
  12. Flip it over, and your cupcake liner flower is complete!
