Ingredients

  • 1 packet McCain EmotiBites
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 Hake fillets cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 250 ml Beer
  • 1 teaspoon Fish seasoning
  • Coleslaw mix
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh cut lemon

 

Method

  1. Set your air fryer to a temperature of 175℃.
  2. Add the EmotiBites and air fry for 6 – 18 minutes until light golden. Shake couple of times in between.
  3. Combine the coleslaw mix with the mayonnaise. Mix well, season and place in the refrigerator.
  4. Make a batter by combining the flour, beer and fish seasoning.
  5. Heat oil on medium to high heat in a frying pan.
  6. Dip the fish into batter and place gently into the hot oil.
  7. Fry until golden and cooked, drain and keep aside.
  8. Place the EmotiBites on a platter, top with coleslaw and cubed beer battered fish.
  9. Squeeze lemon and serve.
