Ingredients

Rooibos & Raspberry Syrup

  • 1x Rooibos teabag (soft infusion, for a more rooibos forward flavor, add another tea bag)
  • 100 g Fresh raspberries
  • 500 ml Water
  • 500 g Sugar

Method

  • Combine water and sugar in a pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add raspberries and tea bag.
  • Let simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Wait for mixture to cool.
  • Strain out the raspberries and tea bag.
  • Bottle and use as required.

Charred Lemon Juice

Note: This step is optional, fresh lemon will suffice.

  1. Cut 5 to 6 lemons in halve.
  2. Place a pan on medium-high heat.
  3. Place lemons face down in a dry pan (no oil).
  4. Cook until a nice charred layer forms.
  5. Allow lemons to cool.
  6. Squeeze/Juice as per normal.

Method

  1. Pour Natura, syrup and lemon juice into the glass.
  2. Stir gently.
  3. Add desired amount of ice.
  4. Top up with soda or sparkling water.
  5. Gently place your lemon zest on top.
