Carols by Candlelight with top SA artists
Another successful Jacaranda FM and SPAR Carols by Candlelight event.
SA’s top artists rocked SuperSport Park in Centurion with lovely Christmas music during the Jacaranda FM and SPAR Carols by Candlelight concert on Tuesday night.
Thousands of residents from in and around Pretoria who attended were encouraged to bring a toy which would be donated to charity organisations Child Welfare Tshwane, Heartbeat and Hanna.
According to Jacaranda FM general manager, Kevin Fine: “With our annual Carols by Candlelight event, we hope to spread some festive cheer, not only to our loyal listeners but to those less fortunate too.
“Last year we were able to collect over 25 000 toys for children who would not have otherwise received a Christmas present.
“We hope to collect a lot more this year through our listeners’ generosity.”
This year featured a stellar line-up of top local acts included Elvis Blue, Dewald Wasserfall, Loyiso Bala, Charlize Berg, Bok van Blerk and the Soweto gospel choir.
