Gauteng International arts festival
Taking Gauteng’s forms of art to new frontiers.
Art lovers came in their numbers to attend the Echo of a Noise, a man-man memoir held at Brooklyn Theatre on Thursday night.
This was part of the Gauteng International Arts festival held around Pretoria which ran from 29 September to 5 October.
The Gaufestival aims to create awareness of the arts in our community and a platform for all developing and existing artists.

The Echo of a Noise was performed by Pieter-Dirk Uys who has learned that every show is the first and the last performance. His new performance at the Brooklyn Theatre reflected why, behind this statement.

The City of Tshwane was the ideal metropole to host such a festival, bearing in mind various embassies from all over the world exit within the city boundaries.
Places that the Gaufestival were held at where the Pretoria Art Museum, Pretoria Arts Association, Botanical Gardens, Kievits Kroon Country Estate, Fountains Valley Resort and Atterbury Theatre.
