Before the year comes to an end, we have a look at some of the best movies that hit theatres in 2015.
Mad Max: Fury Road
If you are a fan of post-apocalyptic action movies, this is definitely a must-see. Starring Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and our very own Charlize Theron, this film will most likely keep you on the edge of your seat.
Furious 7
The seventh instalment of the Fast and Furious series is packed with action but also has a softer side to it. This is one of the last movies in which the late Paul Walker stars, and the movie is a beautiful tribute to the late actor.
The Intern
The Intern is a comedy starring two heavyweights in the world of acting: Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. The movie has received mixed reviews from critics, but watch it and decide for yourself.
Hotel Transylvania 2
Hotel Transylvania 2 is bound to tickle the fancy of young and old. Dracula is back for a second round. This time he tries to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson.
Spectre
Spectre is the twenty fourth instalment of the famous James Bond series, and the fourth time Daniel Craig portrays the character of James Bond. In this movie a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation…
Jurassic World
This version of the Jurassic Park series is the adventure you have been waiting for since that first time you saw Jurassic Park in 1993. This time a new park is built on the original site of Jurassic Park. Clue: this movie also has to do with the escape of a monstrous killing machine.
Inside Out
Another one for the kids – an exciting adventure animation film which is set in the mind of a young girl. After the girl is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.
Pitch Perfect 2
A cappella lovers, unite! Your favourite singing actresses are back. In the second edition of the Pitch Perfect, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld and the rest of the Barden Bellas are back for more singing fun, and this time they go international!
Magic Mike XXL
This steamy movie featuring Channing Tatum is certainly a must for girls’ night. Three years after Mike ended his stripping career at the top of his game, he and the remaining Kings of Tampa travel to Myrtle Beach to put on one last blow-out performance. Warning: this will either be the best or the most awkward experience of your life.
