50 Shades of Grey actor in Pretoria
Mr Grey is lying low in Pretoria.
The Irish hunk Jamie Dornan, better known as sexy CEO Christian Grey, has been in Pretoria for the past month – but it seems this actor is particularly good at hiding from the press, as he is yet to be spotted around town.
Dornan has been at the Swartkop Airforce Base in Centurion for the past few days filming scenes for a new movie called The Siege of Jadotville. The film is based on the 1961 siege of 150 UN Irish troops led by Quinlan in the Congo after pro-western leader Moise Tshombe took control of the Katanga region and killed Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba.
According to an extra, playing one of the soldiers in this movie, Dornan keeps his head low and stays in his hotel room most of the time. “He is a decent, friendly guy and a good actor,” the source said of Dornan.
Other scenes in the movie were shot at Hartebeespoort and in the East Rand.
Rekord could not establish which hotel Dornan was staying at.
