Music festival at Thabeng ya Mogale.
Thabeng Ya Mogale heritage site was the place to be at on Saturday. This is where Bounce entertainment held a Switch Your Musiq music festival.
The rain did not stop music lovers enjoying the first ever music festival to be held at the mountain in Section B3, Mamelodi West. The Switch Your Musiq festival kicked off their countywide tour on Saturday.
Music lovers were entertained by artist and musicians from Tshwane, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo. The purpose of the festival was to promote upcoming and established musicians who have perfected their craft and have established their own following, but who are not getting enough recognition within the Afro-Jazz and Afro-Soul Music genres.
Switch Your Musiq festival introduced unknown musicians who had recorded and released their albums on their own, but lacked much needed exposure to South African music lovers.
These artists had perfected their craft, created their own fan base and were now starting to be recognised in the industry.
The festival featured among others Thabo Segonyane, Bongi and Collin, Morayks, Mabongi, Zodwa Mabena, Movi M, Vhumunu and Sol.
