Mayor Ramokgopa ties the knot
Tshwane's executive mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa tied the knot on Sunday while celebrating his birthday.
Tshwane mayor Kgosientso ‘Sputla’ Ramokgopa celebrated his birthday by marrying his sweetheart Georgia Shekeshe (27) on Sunday.
The wedding took place at a wine estate in Paarl, Western Cape, with only close friends and family in attendance.
Ramokgopa took to Facebook to share pictures from his special day.
“Thank you Georgia Shekeshe for agreeing to be my wife and mother to our children,” he captioned a photo.
The couple reportedly had a traditional wedding in Atteridgeville last year at Ramokgopa’s (40) family home.
According to reports, Shekeshe was the mayor’s personal assistant before resigning when their romance took off.
