Listen: amapiano artist pays tribute to women

The Villa Liza-based artist has condemned violence against women.

Saluting women for their endless contributions to the society, Sipho Shayi (23), who is popularly known as Monochrome, has recently released a single titled Queen of my Heart.

The Villa Liza up-and-coming amapiano artist said through his song he conveys a message of thanksgiving and appreciation for the role women play in society, be it at school, in the community or within families.

“To give the song a womanly feel, I decided to feature an up-and-coming female vocalist, Bonakele,” said Monochrome.

He urged men to not abuse or kill women but to love and protect them. His music is available on Deezer, iTunes and YouTube music.
