Evita to tickle your funny bone at Emperors

Evita and Co will bring the laughter to the Theatre Of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, for three shows during Woman's Day weekend of August 9 and 10.

One can expect only the satirical best from Pieter-Dirk Uys, promising to entertain with his sharp wit and keen understanding of everything South African.

In his first performances at Emperors Palace, he will bring an entire company of characters to support Tannie Evita, such as the ever-green Nowell Fine from Saxonwold, the always opinionated Mrs Petersen from the Cape Flats, the outrageous sex-guru Madame Bambi Kellermann, as well as the political Number One’s, Two’s and Three’s.

One can expect a lot of quips and satirical remarks about the politics, with the EFF, having introduced stand-up comedy into Parliament in matching red berets to match the red faces around them, sure to be in the fire line-up.

There will be two shows on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Book now for great laughter to help chase away the winter blues.
