Watch: EFF calls urgent press conference amid resignation reports
Reports suggest that, among several leadership changes, Floyd Shivambu has resigned as deputy president of the party.
The EFF’s deputy president, Floyd Shivambu, is reportedly set to announce his resignation from the party today.
Various news outlets report that Shivambu will step down from his leadership role in the party for reasons unknown.
It is also reported that Shivambu is among a number of other leadership structure changes for the freedom fighters.
Unconfirmed reports suggest Shivambu also requested to be released from all his duties in the party and parliament.
