Manhunt underway for KZN ATM bombing suspect
Police are searching a sugarcane field in an attempt to find the third suspect involved in an ATM bombing.
A suspect was shot dead and another arrested following an ATM bombing near eSikhaleni in KZN this morning.
Police have intensified their search for a third suspect, who was reportedly involved in the ATM bombing at the KwamaHoloholo garage early this morning.
Shortly after the bombing, one suspect was killed during a shoot-out with cops and a second suspect, believed to be the driver of a getaway vehicle, was arrested on the B19 between John Ross highway and eSikhaleni.
The third suspect escaped and ran into a sugarcane plantation.
It is believed the suspect was fleeing with a bag full of cash.
Police and Farm Watch members are on the scene combing the sugarcane plantation to flush out the suspect.
