Bosasa liquidator dies after apparent hit on N1 in Midrand
Cloete Murray and his son Thomas sustained multiple gunshot wounds when an unknown vehicle fired shots at them.
Cloete Murray, the liquidator of Bosasa (now known as African Global Holdings), has died in hospital this morning after an apparent assassination attempt on him and his son Thomas yesterday.
Kyle van Rheenen from Emer-G-Med said paramedics responded to a shooting incident in Midrand yesterday afternoon where they found two males shot multiple times.

The 28-year-old Thomas was declared dead on the scene while Cloete was rushed to hospital.
Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello confirmed that Cloete had succumbed to his injuries this morning, The Citizen reported.
According to the newspaper, other than being the court appointed liquidator of Bosasa whose executives were implicated in state capture allegations before chief justice Raymond Zondo, Cloete was also the business rescue practitioner for one of the Gupta family companies, Shiva Uranium, including Comair.
His son was a legal practitioner at his firm, Sechaba Trust.
