Veteran actor and director Themba Ndaba takes on the role of Bheki 'Gwinyitshe' Sibanyoni in 'Isiphetho: Destiny', and his character can be seen in tonight's episode.

Popular for his role on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen and Generations, veteran actor and director Themba Ndaba is back on our screens, ready to do what he does best: provide us with the highest level of acting and entertainment.

The actor will join the cast of e.TV’s Isiphetho: Destiny as he takes on the role of Bheki ‘Gwinyitshe’ Sibanyoni. His entry into the show is set to cause commotion as he ignites a storyline relating to polygamy, which is currently a hot topic in Mzansi.

The show, set in an area of Soweto called Mzimhlophe, ‘follows the intertwined lives of four friends who are bound by a life-changing secret from their teenage years. Now in their 30s, they find themselves drawn back to Mzimhlophe, determined to chase their true destinies’, describes the channel’s website.

An X (formerly Twitter) account teased that there would be a new character sure to shake things up on the show with the caption:

“He’s a man on a mission and his quest is the hearts of two women in particular … Bhekiszwe is making his way to #etvIsiphethoDestiny to shake things up,” e.tv captions on Instagram

According to the channel, Gwinyitshe is a Zulu man with a big heart and plenty of love to give. He enters the community of Mzimhlophe with a grand gesture as he proposes to Connie, who is played by Gugu Gumede. His challenge begins when Blondie, played by Linda Sokhulu, returns and he realises he loves them both. Fans of the show and Themba Ndaba can catch his debut on the show today at 18:30.
