Today, we’re introducing you to a spicy twist on the traditional Bloody Mary, featuring chillies for a fiery kick – perfect for those who like their drinks with a bit of heat.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Vodka
- 150 ml Tomato juice
- 15 ml Lemon juice
- 5 ml Worcestershire Sauce
- 10 ml Hot Sauce
- A pinch ground black pepper
- A pinch celery salt
- 1 small red chilli, finely chopped (adjust based on desired heat level)
- Green olives (for garnish)
- Celery stick (for garnish)
- Ice cubes
Method
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and set it aside to chill.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, black pepper, and celery salt. Add the finely chopped red chilli to the mixture.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Discard the ice from your chilled glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a celery stick and a skewer of green olives. You can also add a slice of lemon or a sprig of fresh herbs, such as parsley or dill.
