Take note of a new family fun market

A fun-filled day was hosted to benefit the needy in the north of Pretoria on Saturday.

A child events and party company from the north of Pretoria sought to make a difference in the community by organising a family fun day that was open to all on Saturday.

NAIS Kiddies and Events hosted the event for people of all ages from all walks of life to play around, eat some candyfloss, have their faces painted, jump on a jumping castles or horseback riding, while also donating old clothes to the needy.

“The goal of this day was to teach kids how to have some good-old fun the old-fashioned way, but also to teach them to give back,”  said Neo Mafolo, event coordinator and owner of NAIS Kiddies and Events.

“We want moms and dads to bring their bags of old clothes, but also to have a super fun day in the sun,”

The turnout was below expectation, but the spirit of the day remained high.

“We hope to create a bit of awareness and get some tongues wagging about this, to maybe get a bigger crowd next time, said Mafolo.
