Well-loved singer passes away

The world mourns Joe Cocker’s sudden death.

Joe Cocker, a gas fitter before his rise to fame, has tragically lost the battle against lung cancer.

Cocker was well loved in the music industry and tributes and condolences has since flooded social media. Iconic musicians such as Bryan Adams, Steve Tyler and Sir Paul McCartney Tweeted their condolences. McCartney described Cocker as “a lovely guy who brought so much to the world”.

Cocker started his singing career in the 1960s and his cover of A Little Help From My Friends, originally a Beatles song, shot to number one on the charts, which put him on the super stardom map.

He recorded 23 studio albums and 40 albums in his career.
