Problem: The couch is full of hair and difficult to clean.
Solution: Use slip covers, blankets or throws and simply pop them into the wash instead. In winter, dog coats can also help stop the spread of hair.
Problem: There is pet hair everywhere.
Solution: Put on a pair of rubber gloves and run your hands along an item of clothing or piece of furniture that’s covered in hair; you’ll be amazed how much hair clings to them. You can also use lindt rollers to get rid of pet hair on winter jerseys and scarves.
Problem: Your pup peed on the carpet again.
Solution: Put baking soda over the spot, leave it for about 20 minutes and then vacuum it up.
Problem: There are scratches on your wooden furniture.
Solution: Rub a walnut over the scratches; the nut’s oils will seep into the wood and the scratches will fade.
Problem: You can smell a dog urine odour.
Solution: Make your own deodorizer: simply fill a spray bottle with some white vinegar and spray the floor or carpet where the mark is. As the vinegar dries so disappears the urine smell.
