EMPD, CPF and SAPS members were also present, and remained on the site from Saturday morning until Sunday morning to ensure that party-goers enjoy the festival safely.

Roads around the area were busy on Saturday morning until midnight, but other than the expected congestion, no major problems were reported by the police.

The streets were littered with bottles, papers and other objects to the dismay of residents. However, during a press conference held ahead of the event, organisers ensured the media that the streets will be cleaned immediately after the event. – @FanieBoksburg
